Ridgeway Joins the Vista Prairie Communities Family
As of October 1, 2023, Ridgeway on 23rd and Ridgeway on German has become a part of Vista Prairie Communities, a mission-driven nonprofit senior care provider. Vista Prairie Communities, based in Champlin, MN, currently owns and operates seven senior care communities in Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. The organization also owns a senior care community in Ohio.
The ownership change will expand the level of care that is currently offered in assisted living settings in New Ulm, Minnesota. The changeover will also offer opportunities for enhanced training, growth, and support for staff members of both Ridgeway communities.
The key benefit of the acquisition enables the Ridgeway locations to provide enhanced levels of care for older adults who need more assistance in daily life activities but who also want to stay in a comfortable homelike setting, not requiring a move to a skilled nursing facility.
